No. INAH gives the road distance as about 188 kilometres, and the official tourism site describes the rail journey as roughly three to four hours. Treat it as a full-day trip.
No. Cancún is on the mainland. Isla Mujeres is a separate island, reached by ferry from ports including Puerto Juárez.
Not in the Hotel Zone. Cenote tours travel inland, many toward the Ruta de los Cenotes near Puerto Morelos or combine a cenote with Maya sites.
No. Whale sharks, turtles and other marine animals are wild. Choose by route, season and operator information, but do not treat a sighting as guaranteed.
The Hotel Zone includes public access beaches such as Playa Delfines. Playa Norte is on Isla Mujeres, not in Cancún, and needs a ferry or boat trip.
Departure varies: Puerto Juárez, marinas in the Hotel Zone and other docks appear in the catalogue. Check the meeting point before comparing price.
